As a nature lover and enthusiastic birder, I am constantly looking for the next exciting encounter. My lifelong interest in observing people has developed me a passion for behavior and group dynamics. Diverse employments in contrasting academic and professional fields in several countries have enabled me to obtain a special intuition for interpersonal interactions.
As a result of my great enjoyment in successful projects and meaningfull collaborations the Kernbeisser “corebiter” was hatched. I have made it my job to be a reformer and catalyst for individuals, teams and organizations. My mission is to get to the bottom of any issue and find a sustainable solution that is right for you.
Like the Kernbeisser – from the shell to the core!
My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and Adult Education at the Faculty of Behavioral Sciences in Helsinki. During my exchange semester I met the love of my life and Germany was deemed to be my new home. For the interdisciplinary Master’s degree in European Studies at the University of Göttingen, I chose Human Resources as my focus.
This was followed by several years of employment as an HR Manager in various German companies. In the course of these positions, I realized how much potential and room for improvement organizational development and HR have. The search for answers led me to a PhD program with a focus on diversity and inclusion in talent management and further to my current book project.
For several years now I have been sharing my practical and theoretical knowledge as a freelance consultant. In this role, my goal is to facilitate self-initiated and sustainable development. This requires openness, self-reflection and courage from all involved. And most importantly, a lot of honesty and humor!
“A person with a passion is like an organisation with a shared purpose – unstoppable.”
